4-consulting was commissioned to evaluate support provided by Fife Council to social enterprise. This included stakeholder consultations and a survey of recently established social enterprises and those about to form social enterprises.
The evaluation focused on the business plan, the outcomes that had been delivered and the relationships between the stakeholders involved in support delivery. The final report provided clear guidance as to how the support could be better tailored in future and our key recommendations were quickly implemented.
“4-consulting clearly fulfilled the brief they were given, and delivered a well structured, concise, insightful report, with practical recommendations to improve the future operation of the Social Enterprise Contract.
"Despite having a short time-scale to work in, they delivered on time & in budget.”
Chris Wragg, Fife Council (February 2012)
