ICT Strategic Planning

Originally commissioned by the Scottish Government team planning the set-up of Creative Scotland, we advised on the technical merger of the ICT facilities of the predecessor organisations.

We prepared budget plans and capital expenditure Business Cases for approval by Government Ministers.  We project managed the technical merger activity and devised the ICT governance structure.

Finally, we specified and project managed the competitive selection of new line-of-business software applications.  Throughout our involvement we have worked closely with the senior management team to ensure that the ICT facilities continue to be effective, efficient and value for money.

From this, under the direction of the Team lead, we  prepared budget plans and capital expenditure Business Cases for approval by Government Ministers; project managed the technical merger activity and devised the ICT governance structure.

In the next phase of the transition, we led the development of the specification, project managed the competitive selection of new line-of-business software applications and are currently project managing the system implementation.  Throughout our involvement we worked closely with the senior management team, ICT team and a wide range of staff members to ensure that the ICT facilities continued to be effective, efficient and value for money.
